Travel Health Educate was set up by Patricia Brady RGN, Dip in Tropical Nursing in 2023 to promote best practice in the delivery of travel healthcare to patients. Her vision is to see a national framework of education and standards for all health professionals in the delivery of travel health services in Ireland.

Travel Health Educate collects the following data:

You directly provide Travel Health Educate with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online or place an order for any of our products or services through Eventbrite.
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
  • Request further information about one of our courses

  • The private Travel Health Educate Facebook group

How will we use your data?

Travel Health Educate collects your data so that we can:

  • Process your order and manage your account.

  • Provide you with outbreak news and discussions through the website blog and the Facebook group.

Travel Health Educate will not share your data with any other companies. 

When Our Company or Eventbrite processes your order, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.

How do we store your data?

Travel Health Educate securely stores your data at our Dublin 18 address which is password protected and McAfee firewalls.

Our Company will keep your name, email and telephone number for ten years. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by deleting it from our contact list.

Travel Health Educate would like to send you information about other courses, educational updates, webinars and services of ours that we think you might like, as well as those of our partner companies.
